Fads

The students at my school have this amusing way of all turning to some new form of entertainment at the same time. One week it might be a silly-putty like object. One week it was Cat's Cradle. One week it was folding paper into quarters such that when you move it quickly through the air a loud popping noise is made.

Last week it was silkworms (for both the boys and girls, but more the former than the latter) as well as plastic bracelets (for the girls). I had to temporarily confiscate some silkworms and was gifted two bracelets.
