A few pictures of the campus...

The student dorms. 832 students live here.

They finally finished this grand staircase but are still working on the back wall to keep the kids from fall off the cliff.
(The rock is volcanic--grey with bubble pockets--presumably local.)

The school has its own chapter of the Communist Party and it meets in the same room as our faculty meetings.
So when I walked in for our second faculty meeting I was rather taken aback to find a large hammer and sickle on the wall.

The new student cafeteria is on the left. This gorgeous tree shades the area
between the back of the school building and the student dorms.
