On the way to and from Princeton Reunions, I've spent just a little bit of time with my parents in Maryland, and I was delighted to not only see but also photograph one of their resident red foxes (Vulpes vulpes). My parents see foxes about pretty regularly, and I've seen them occasionally when visiting but never gotten a photo. I saw this one out of the window, sprinted to the other side of the house to grab my camera, and managed to get just a few photos before it ran off...
